So this early portion of your pregnancy it's nice to take it easy. Continuing with your regular workout should be fine, but don't start anything new without clearance from your Lead Maternity Carer (LMC).
If you're concerned about overdoing it, you are absolutely allowed to take it easy.
In my first trimester, I already held myself differently as I dealt with nausea. So my focus was on, mobility and finding foods that helped to keep the nausea at bay.
The Second Trimester: Building a Strong Foundation: The second trimester is a time of exciting changes, both physically and emotionally. It's the ideal moment to focus on building a strong foundation for the months ahead. Strength training becomes valuable in maintaining a balanced body and healthy posture. The 4th Trimester: Recovery and Nourishment: After the beautiful journey of pregnancy, the postpartum period, known as the 4th Trimester, begins. This phase is all about recovery and nourishment. The safe lifting practices that you learned during pregnancy become essential in caring for your newborn. Especially if you're alone with baby after a c-section.
